Engaged in zinc sulfate production and selling for more than 20 years, Rech Chemical’s rich experience has made us developed a very perfect production, sales and service system. Yesterday one of customers inquired about zinc sulphate monohydrate and he pointed to ask for water-soluble and granular zinc sulphate fertilizer. One of our staff in Customer Service Department replys him as bellow:
If to use zinc sulfate monohydrate as water-soluble fertilizer, zinc sulfate monohydrate particle is not the best type. The common particle size for zinc sulphate particle is 2-4 mm. For its high hardness, it’s difficult to grinded and soluble slow in water. So particles are commonly used as basal fertilizer and directly spread in the soil with slow release effect. In contrast to particles, zinc sulfate monohydrate powder is more suggested for this purpose.
And the customer asked the ratio of zinc sulphate particles and water when it reaches 33% solubility. In order to reply professionally, we consulted with our technical department that only under the condition of 25°, zinc sulfate monohydrate particles dissolve in water and reach its highest zinc content at 12.6%. That is to say, zinc sulphate monohydrate particles dissolve in water and its zinc content could not reach as 33%.
