The application of ferrous sulphate in printing

Ferrous sulfate contains ferrous sulphate monohydrate, ferrous sulfate heptahydrate, etc. In industry, ferrous sulfate not only be used as lron salt, but also be applied in printing and dyeing industry.

1, to treat the wastewater from printing and dyeing factory: it has good effect to use sodium hydroxide and ferrous sulfate in decolorizing printing and dyeing wastewater. The process is simple to operate. And it has advantages of less investment, low cost and wide raw material sources. So it’s the better way to remove reactive dye printing and dyeing wastewater.

2, In Chinese blue method, indigo dye printed on fabric as insoluble matter, then be whitened with ferrous sulfate.

3, in tannic acid iron ink and other ink producing, ferrous sulfate is used as dyeing mordant.

4, ferrous sulphate can be colored the concrete into yellow rust color.
