Zinc poisoning, in most cases, appears green lost or yellowing in young leaves and lower epidermis of stems and petiole shows russet. Zinc poisoning on rice appears that seedlings grow weakly and leaves turn yellow; Zinc poisoning on wheat, tip appear brown spot; Zinc poisoning on soybean, leaves appear purple color, especially from the middle rib with leaves huddled up.
 
Manganese poisoning symptoms vary according to the different crops, but most poisoning crops will root browning, brown spots on leaves, also yellowish or a purple on leaves’ rim with newly rollup, etc. Manganese poisoning on apple would caused thick skin disease. Manganese poisoning on rice would make leaves yellowish and stems with brown pollutants. Excessive manganese will suppress the absorption of molybdenum. Therefore molybdenum deficiency in acid soil may caused by excessive manganese.
