The experience of communication with a Japanese customer

Because of an international business of ferrous sulfate, I have the opportunities to communicate with customers from many countries. Different customers had left a different impression on me, especially a story with a Japanese customer which influenced me much.

Effect by the tsunami, Japan's nuclear plants unluckily leaked. After then, the construction debris exposured to radiation had to do some treatments such as removing off heavy metal, radiation and toxic substances. However, ferrous sulfate just can treat with the construction debris. This Japanese customer planted to purchase ferrous sulfate from China. From day of communication on email communication, sample test to visiting our factory and firm order, all reveal a Japanese customers’ strict attitude. To my surprised, they finally tried 2T of ferrous sulfate at a relatively high price only for product test (a container can basically be loaded 27T). These behaviors had told me Japanese customers need high quality of products and service.

Although first cooperation is full of twists and turns, adhering to the company's serving principle, I would not let this Japanese down in every detailed request in products and services. Through this industry grade ferrous sulfate cooperation, we established solid relationship with each other.
