Is magnesium sulfate an organic fertilizer?

Publish Time: 2016-12-09     Origin: Rech Chemical Co. LTD

Today I saw an ad said “we can supply organic fertilizer magnesium sulfate”. After reading this ad carefully, I finally understand that this product is not referring to the magnesium sulfate or magnesium sulfate heptahydrate. Today, Rech Chemical Co. Ltd will explain the differences briefly between the two products for you.

Organic fertilizers include manure, slurry, worm castings, peat, seaweed, humic acid and so on. While magnesium sulfate is the same with zinc sulfate, ferrous sulfate and manganese sulfate, all of them belong to inorganic sulfate and can be used as trace element fertilizers.
Therefore, magnesium sulfate is not an organic fertilizer, it is a kind of inorganic trace element fertilizer
