Nutrient solution of hydroponic plants generally consists of some essential mineral elements and water. Although different plants require different elements amount, basic elements vary less. How to allocate zinc and ferrous trace elements, such as zinc sulfate, ferrous sulfate? Hereby, Rech Chemical introduces a widely used formula---Hoagland’s microelement nutrient formula.

Usually, the concentrate of various salts shall should make out firstly to avoid precipitations appear in the concentrate solution. Please add water and make it’s diluted to the required concentration.

1,Trace elements
Mother liquor and preparation(trace elements could be mixed together)
Boric acid                                        2.86 g/L
Tetrahydrate manganese chloride    1.81 g/L
Zinc sulfate heptahydrate                0.22 g/L
Copper sulfate pentahydrate            0.08 g/L
Water molybdenum acid                  0.02 g/L
Add 1 ML trace elements solution into every 1L culture solution.

2,Ferrous salt solution :
Ferrous sulfate heptahydrate          2.78g
Ethylene Diamine Tetraacetic Acid     3.73g
Pure water                        500ml
Add 1 ML FeEDTA into every 1L culture solution.

Rech Chemical pay your attention that ,you could add or reduce some elements proportions like zinc sulfate and ferrous sulfate according to the plants’ special quality which that is just suitable for your contrast testing and the choice for the best .
