Zinc sulfate is widely used in artificial fiber, fertilizer, chemicals, medicine, mining and other industries. Refine is one of most important procedures in producing zinc sulfate, especially removing iron. Generally speaking, the content of Fe+ is no more than 0.02%. If Fe exceeds 0.5%, zinc sulfate color would turn green or red. And it couldn't be used as the raw material in rubber, medicine or other electronic industry.
 

How to remove? There are many methods to remove iron orFe+. Oxidizing agents such as potassium hypermanganate, hydrogen peroxide and chlorinated lime are widely used by many factories.
